Using DosDude1's Mojave Patch Tool, you can install a patched version of Mojave on unsupported Macs. Well, I made a clean install of Mojave on my 3,1 using the patch and it's running very nicely so far. One thing though, I didn't install the AMD Metal Driver SSE4.2 Emulation layer, because I'm using an Nvidia card. But every time I boot, the Patch Updater prompts me to install it.
